Paragon Fitwear is a women’s activewear brand built for women who train. Best known for our Sculptseam technology, we create performance-driven pieces that combine function, fit, and style.

We’re currently looking for an Associate Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a strong Assistant Designer ready to step into more ownership, or an experienced Associate Designer looking for a long-term home. We’re seeking someone highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about product. You’ll support the full design process from concept through production, working closely with the design team on seasonal collections, tech packs, sample management, fittings, and development.

This is a hands-on role across the full product lifecycle. You’ll help translate trend research and creative concepts into product that resonates with the Paragon customer while ensuring strong execution and follow-through every step of the way. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, take pride in your work, and love activewear design, we’d love to hear from you.

What you'll do

  • Support the design team in developing and executing seasonal collections across categories
  • Contribute across the full product lifecycle, from concept through production
  • Conduct market research, including competitor analysis and trend forecasting across silhouette, fabric, color, and innovation
  • Develop and present brand-aligned, trend-informed design concepts; adapt and refine based on feedback
  • Build detailed technical flats in Adobe Illustrator
  • Build and maintain tech packs and BOMs in Google Sheets in partnership with Technical Design
  • Participate in fit sessions and support tech pack updates by accurately reflecting comments and revisions
  • Build and maintain seasonal line plans
  • Own timelines and meet deadlines within the seasonal calendar
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Technical Design, and Marketing to ensure the design vision is executed

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of apparel design experience; activewear or shapewear experience is a strong plus
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, with strong sketching and CAD skills
  • Solid working knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and technical specifications
  • A sharp aesthetic eye and the ability to translate trends into commercially viable activewear for the Paragon customer
  • Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and accurate
  • Self-driven with strong ownership and follow-through
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, fully remote environment
  • PLM system experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or equivalent experience
  • West Coast preferred to streamline sample shipping with our design team
