NOW HIRING AN ASSOCIATE DESIGN DIRECTOR
Our client is a developer in the UAE, specialising in luxury residential projects.
The Role:
The Associate Design Director will oversee the creative direction and delivery of design projects across the business. This role involves managing the full design process from concept through to completion, working closely with internal teams and external consultants to ensure each project reflects the brand’s identity and meets the highest design standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day management of design projects, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
- Oversee the development of design concepts, layouts, and presentations, ensuring alignment with brand standards and project goals.
- Act as the main point of contact, maintaining clear communication across all project phases.
- Coordinate with internal teams to meet key milestones and ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource planning to maintain cost control and operational efficiency.
- Lead and mentor the design team, allocating tasks and ensuring a collaborative and productive working environment.
- Ensure all design work complies with local regulations, codes, and internal design standards.
- Stay informed on global design trends and innovations to bring fresh thinking to ongoing and future projects.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience, including 5+ years in a leadership/management role
- Experience working with developers or consultants
- 3+ years of UAE experience and currently based in the UAE
- Proven experience with luxury residential projects and interiors
- Familiarity with regional codes, regulations, and authority approval processes is a plus
