Key Responsibilities

1. Creative Strategy & Conceptualisation

  • Lead creative ideation for brand campaigns, digital films, social content, and integrated brand experiences.
  • Work closely with the strategy, content, and account teams to translate brand objectives into powerful creative narratives.

  • Balance big-picture thinking with hands-on involvement in scripting, copywriting, and art direction when required.

2. Team Leadership & Creative Direction

  • Oversee a team of writers, designers, and art directors to ensure creative consistency and excellence.
  • Guide and mentor junior creatives, providing clear direction and constructive feedback.
  • Ensure all work delivered is on-brand, on-brief, and meets our creative standards.
  • Review scripts, storyboards, campaign ideas, and final outputs before client presentations.

3. Production Collaboration

  • Work closely with the in-house production and post-production teams to bring creative ideas to life.
  • Participate in pre-production, casting, styling, and on-set creative supervision when required.
  • Ensure creative integrity during execution from script to final edit.
  • Collaborate with directors, DOPs, and editors to ensure the tone, look, and feel align with brand intent.

4. Client Engagement & Presentations

  • Lead creative presentations and discussions with clients and stakeholders.
  • Build confidence with clients through strong storytelling, rationale, and creative vision.
  • Partner with the Business and Strategy teams to proactively identify creative opportunities with existing clients.

5. Innovation & Trend Awareness

  • Stay up-to-date with digital trends, content formats, and emerging platforms.
  • Bring new creative techniques, formats, and storytelling approaches to the team.
  • Encourage experimentation with design, motion, and new media forms in campaign execution.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong conceptual thinking with excellent command over visual and verbal storytelling.
  • Deep understanding of digital content, social media, and branded film production.
  • Excellent leadership, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance creative freedom with brand discipline and timelines.
  • Strong collaboration and multitasking skills in a fast-paced creative environment.
  • Hands-on with idea development, scripting, and creative reviews.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a blend of creative campaign thinking and production-led storytelling.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Mass Media, Communication, or Fine Arts.
  • 7–10 years of experience in creative roles at an advertising agency, digital agency, or production house.
  • Prior experience working on branded content, social films, or campaign production is a must.
  • Experience leading creative teams and managing end-to-end campaign lifecycle.
