Position: Senior Artist (Cartoon & Graphic Styles)
Type: Contractor
Compensation: $7/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20-40 hours/week (8 hours/day) with 4 hours overlap with PST
Role Responsibilities
- Create high-quality illustrations and visual assets based on creative briefs
- Develop engaging, character-driven visuals across multiple styles (cartoon, manga/anime, pop art, etc.)
- Produce multiple design variations while maintaining consistency in style, composition, and quality
- Ensure excellence in line work, color harmony, textures, and overall visual execution
- Document prompts, workflows, and asset metadata in a clear and structured manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback efficiently
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience as a Cartoonist, Illustrator, Visual Artist, or similar role
- Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across multiple styles and mediums
- Solid understanding of composition, color theory, lighting, and visual balance
- Proven ability to adapt and replicate diverse art styles accurately
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and consistency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
