About the Team and the Role:
As a member of the zonal marketing team, you will serve as the Zonal Marketing Manager or Senior Zonal Marketing Manager for a designated zone. This pivotal role involves owning the Ather brand at a regional level, translating business objectives into powerful marketing strategies, and driving growth across our entire product ecosystem. You will be instrumental in delivering zonal business plans, strengthening our brand presence, and connecting with customers in markets assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Zonal Marketing & Business Planning:
- Working closely with the zonal sales heads on monthly, quarterly and annual zonal business plans and drawing a corresponding zonal marketing plan.
- Ensuring zonal marketing planning for all Ather products; Scooter (primary), Accessories, Merchandise, Connected Service, Charging Infrastructure & more
- Manage Brand Ather in Zone(s)
- Conceptualize & manage regional campaigns:
- Derive regional insights from sales funnel, research, market travels and more
- Build micro-campaigns to leverage regional insights solve regional challenges
- Strengthen brand positioning, build salience and aspiration in the region
- Build the zonal marketing ecosystem in designated zone(s); creative agency partner, event & activation partners, media partners and more
- Manage new-market GTM & launches in the zone(s)
- Implementing centrally-driven campaigns in zone(s) via sales & agency partners
- Provide planning & execution support to sales & dealership teams in driving dealer-driven marketing campaigns (events, test-rides & BTL)
- Handle select central brand projects on a need basis. Example: ATL campaigns, researching, solutioning & planning the execution of an all-India brand/business project
Must have Competencies:
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with sales counterparts and external agency partners, supported by strong brief writing skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in campaign and project management, with a strong ability to build new processes for marketing operations.
- Holistic business acumen spanning marketing, media, trade, and sales, with a knack for deriving customer insights from data and direct interactions.
- Willingness and ability to travel 5 to 7 days per month to engage with regional markets.
Good to have Competencies:
- Prior experience in the automotive, consumer durables, or a hardware product industry.
- Familiarity with B2C marketing in a retail or dealership-driven environment.
- Experience with both ATL (Above The Line) and BTL (Below The Line) marketing strategies.
- A strong personal interest in electric vehicles and sustainable technology.
Experience and Qualifications:
- An MBA in marketing (or related stream) from tier 1/2 institutes
- Experience of 6-8 years in Sales & Marketing preferably in a hardware product industry
