Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Writer role based in Barcelona. The Writer will develop clear, engaging, and accurate content that supports Bunge’s brand, internal and external communications, and marketing initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching topics related to agribusiness, sustainability, and food systems; drafting articles, reports, web copy, and stakeholder communications; and revising content to ensure consistency with corporate messaging and tone. The role involves collaborating with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to translate complex information into accessible narratives, as well as proofreading and editing materials for grammar, style, and factual accuracy. The Writer may also contribute to content planning, support campaign development, and maintain content libraries and documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong writing and editing skills, including experience producing clear, structured, and audience-focused content in English.
- Ability to research complex topics, synthesize information, and present it in concise, accurate, and engaging formats.
- Experience with web content creation, basic content management tools, and an understanding of digital communication best practices.
- Skill in adapting tone and messaging for different channels and stakeholders, such as internal communications, marketing, and corporate reports.
- Attention to detail in proofreading, fact-checking, and ensuring consistency in style, terminology, and branding.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Languages, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort working within cross-functional, multicultural teams and collaborating with subject matter experts and business partners.
- Interest or experience in agribusiness, food systems, sustainability, or related industries is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in English; additional European languages, especially Spanish, are beneficial.
