Position: Wardrobe Technician (Seasonal)
Join the Splash Water Parade Touring Team! The Splash Water Parade is a groundbreaking touring production that combines singers, dancers, breathtaking water effects, cutting‑edge technology, and dazzling performances. We’re looking for talented individuals with diverse technical, operational, and creative expertise to bring this spectacular parade to life on one of our 2 multi‑city tours.
All roles are seasonal positions. Work is based on a 6‑day work week, with days expected to vary between 8 and 10 hours per day. Travel and housing are covered completely by the company (hotel rooms based on double occupancy). Meal expenses are not covered. Rates are flat pay; there is no separate per diem.
Blue Tour 2026
- Six Flags over Georgia (Austell, GA) – Late May to Mid June
- Carowinds (Charlotte, NC) – Late June to Mid July
- Dorney Park (Allentown, PA) – Early August to Late August
- Most seasonals start May 12 and run through 8/28
Green Tour 2026
- Kings Dominion (Doswell, VA) – Late June to Mid August
- Most seasonals start June 16 and run through August 14
Wardrobe Technician (2 per tour) Responsibilities
- Maintains costume inventory, repairs, fittings and laundry.
- Co‑ordinates with Park Wardrobe teams for laundry and repairs.
- Ensures costumes meet quality and performance standards.
- Ensures cast and crew have ample drying towels for end of shows.
- Coordinates the packing, transport, and maintenance of wardrobe assets.
- Assists during the run of the parade as necessary.
- Assists in refilling float water systems and water props as necessary and assists other crew members as necessary.
- Drives and/or directs a float or show vehicle in show or when necessary.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to drive a parade float when necessary.
- 2+ years of experience in costume maintenance for live performances, parades, or theme parks.
- Experience with costume laundry and maintenance.
- Strong organizational skills for managing large costume inventories on tour.
