Overview
VP Visual Merchandising Jobs in Dubai, United Arab Emirates at Gloria Jeans
VP Visual Merchandising
We are a fashion retail group that started as a denim specialist in 1988 and has grown into a leading regional fast-fashion player.
Today, we operate over 600 stores, employ more than 7,000 people, and generate close to $1 billion in revenue, supported by a strong and growing online presence.
We offer clothing, footwear, and accessories for women, men, and children, while expanding into new categories such as home and beauty. Our ambition is simple: make fashion inspiring, accessible, and constantly evolving.
Now entering a new phase of international expansion from our global headquarters in Dubai, we are building a world-class Visual Merchandising function to support this growth.
Our vision is to combine decades of retail expertise with modern creative leadership, strong commercial discipline, and scalable execution — shaping store environments that strengthen brand identity and improve retail performance across all markets.
We move fast, adapt boldly, and aim to make everyday fashion both beautiful and attainable for millions.
The role
We are looking for a VP Visual Merchandising to lead Gloria Jeans’ global VM strategy across our full store network.
This role covers more than 600 stores, multiple store formats ranging from 600 to 4,000 sqm, all customer target groups, and all key VM disciplines including windows, indoor presentation, store layout, styling, and international rollout.
This is a creative and commercial leadership role sitting at the intersection of brand expression and retail performance. The VP Visual Merchandising will own the visual identity of the in-store experience globally and build a best-in-class VM function capable of supporting our ambition to become the number one fashion retailer in the region.
The position requires a senior leader who combines strong visual instinct with commercial understanding, large-scale execution capability, and the ability to build and lead multidisciplinary teams across multiple geographies.

Govern retail space design standards across all store formats, including fixture design, floor layouts, CAD specifications, and material guidelines
Own the store design bible and ensure that all new store openings and refits comply with Gloria Jeans visual standards
Partner with Construction, Real Estate, and external architects on capex planning, store buildout timelines, and execution quality
Drive fixture innovation by briefing internal and external partners, managing cost considerations, and approving final design specifications
Build and lead the VM organization
Lead a multidisciplinary VM team covering Store & Window, Indoor VM, Store Layout, and Countries execution
Set creative and operational standards across the department, coaching teams and elevating output across styling, layout, space design, and rollout quality

Lead recruitment for senior and director-level positions across the VM function
Ensure international rollout and execution excellence

Ensure strong alignment with Russia-based VM leadership and consistent execution to global standards
Build scalable VM playbooks and operating frameworks that enable fast, consistent rollout across new store openings and existing stores
Profile requirements
12+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising, including at least 4 years in a leadership role with global or multi-market scope
Deep expertise across all major VM disciplines, including window design, indoor merchandising, styling, store design, and store layout

Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to connect VM decisions to sell-through, average transaction value, conversion, and overall store performance
Strong creative leadership with the ability to balance global brand consistency with local market relevance
Solid understanding of retail math, space planning, and visual standards documentation
Experience managing budgets, capex planning, and vendor relationships related to fixture design and store environments
Highly collaborative, with the ability to work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, IT, Construction, and senior leadership teams
