About The Role

We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists with authentic South African English accents to participate in paid studio recording sessions for a leading AI speech research project.
This is a contract role with competitive hourly pay. Sessions are short, structured, and professionally managed — ideal for working voice actors looking for meaningful, well-compensated studio work.

- Note: This project does not involve voice cloning
What You'll Do
- Record natural South African English conversational speech in a professional studio environment
- Participate in single-speaker sessions and dual-speaker dialogue recordings
- Deliver realistic, human-sounding speech that feels unscripted and natural
- Follow light direction to vary tone, pacing, and delivery style
- Bring your authentic South African English accent to every session
Who You Are
- A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with prior recording experience
- A native or near-native South African English speaker with an authentic, natural accent
- Fluent in English at a working level for communication and direction
- Comfortable performing natural dialogue and conversational speech in a studio setting
- Reliable, professional, and receptive to creative direction
- Currently based in South Africa
Nice to Have
- Acting or performance background
- Experience in broadcast, podcast, or commercial studio recording
- Comfort with both scripted and improvised conversational delivery
