We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to design and implement attractive showroom displays for home décor and furniture products. The role focuses on enhancing customer experience, strengthening brand identity, and driving sales through effective visual presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute visually appealing showroom layouts for furniture and home décor products
- Create engaging window displays and in-store setups to attract customers and increase footfall
- Arrange furniture, accessories, lighting, and décor items to create inspiring lifestyle settings
- Ensure all displays align with brand standards and visual merchandising guidelines
- Develop seasonal themes, promotional displays, and product launch concepts
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, organization, and aesthetics of showroom displays
- Analyze sales trends and customer behavior to optimize product placement and layouts
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, and buying teams to implement merchandising strategies
- Source props, materials, and décor elements to enhance visual presentation
- Train and guide showroom staff on visual merchandising standards and best practices
- Conduct regular store walkthroughs and update displays based on stock availability and trends
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, Fine Arts, or related field
- 1–3+ years of experience in visual merchandising (preferably in home décor/ furniture showroom)
- Strong knowledge of interior styling, space planning, and color coordination
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and aesthetics
- Ability to create mood boards, display concepts, and floor plans
- Proficiency in design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp) is an advantage
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
