Position Overview We are looking for a talented and self-driven Videographer & Video Editor who can own a project from concept to final cut. You will work closely with our Creative Director to develop and produce video content primarily for social media, with occasional promotional campaigns and product tutorials. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves being behind the camera just as much as they love the editing bay—and who is comfortable working under the Creative Director’s direction on shoots as well as executing solo shoots independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit footage in Adobe Premiere Pro and develop motion graphics using After Effects
- Shoot, edit, and deliver polished video content primarily for social media, with occasional promotional campaigns and product tutorials
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop concepts and translate ideas into compelling visual stories
- Plan and execute video shoots from pre-production through final delivery, both in-house and on location
- Occasional travel for shoots, representing the Poppin Popcorn brand professionally on camera and off
- Conduct on-camera interviews with customers, partners, and team members to capture authentic, story-driven content
- Occasionally, reach out to and coordinate with customers or partners to schedule and organize shoot logistics
- Maintain clear, professional communication with all contacts before, during, and after production
- Receive and apply creative feedback with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Bring your own ideas to the table and contribute to the ongoing development of our content strategy
Qualifications
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- A strong portfolio demonstrating video content created for brands or social media (required)
- Minimum 3 years of professional videography and video editing experience, with 4–5 years preferred
- Excellent storytelling instincts with a sharp eye for pacing, structure, and visual flow
- Confident working independently while staying aligned with the broader creative vision
- Professional communication skills—written, verbal, and on set
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and adaptable in a fast-moving environment
Preferred / Strong Plus
- Background in public relations, communications, or client-facing coordination
- Experience managing ongoing relationships with external contacts and handling shoot scheduling end to end

Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
