About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full‑Time Senior Video Editor to join our creative team remotely, preferably based in the Los Angeles area. In this performance-driven role, you will be responsible for owning and scaling high‑performing video creative assets across various platforms, including Video Sales Letters (VSLs), paid social media ads, and direct-response campaigns. Reporting directly to the Creative Operations Manager, you will collaborate closely with content creators and media buying teams to transform expert-led health content into compelling, compliant, and conversion-optimized video assets. Your work will directly impact campaign performance, revenue, and brand growth, emphasizing testing, iteration, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, strong editorial judgment, and a performance-oriented approach, with the ability to operate with minimal supervision and deliver high-quality results consistently.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in a performance marketing environment
- Proven track record in editing Video Sales Letters (VSLs), paid social ads (Meta, YouTube, native, Amazon), and direct-response creative
- Strong understanding of performance marketing principles and conversion-focused editing techniques
- Ability to craft engaging narratives, hooks, and pacing with minimal guidance
- Experience working with data-informed creative testing and iterative optimization
- Excellent creative judgment, including music selection, stock footage, pacing, and visual flow, with attention to licensing considerations
- Experience in health, wellness, supplements, or other regulated categories is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of After Effects for light motion graphics
- Familiarity with media encoding, Photoshop (for basic graphics), and Frame.io
- Understanding of multi-format delivery (1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9) and cloud-based workflows
- Strong organizational skills with disciplined file management and naming conventions
- Reliable high-performance editing workstation (Mac or PC), high-speed internet, and professional storage systems
- Ability to render and export videos efficiently and meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel as needed
Responsibilities
- Lead editing and optimization of Video Sales Letters (VSLs) to maximize conversion and engagement
- Create and edit paid social media advertisements across platforms including Meta, YouTube, native channels, and Amazon
- Develop structured variations of creative assets for testing different hooks, angles, and formats
- Continuously analyze performance data and testing insights to iterate and improve creative assets
- Implement graphic overlays and light motion graphics to enhance clarity, engagement, and visual appeal
- Collaborate with content and media buying teams to develop and align on creative strategies
- Maintain organized project files and scalable post-production workflows to ensure efficiency and consistency
- Deliver high-quality, performance-driven edits on time, with minimal revisions required
- Generate creative variations systematically to facilitate testing and optimize results over time
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure creative assets remain competitive and effective
