We are seeking Freelance Video Editor/Motion Graphics Designers to help support ad hoc video and animation projects, producing short-form promotional content and motion assets for social media. These roles will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver polished videos that align with brand standards and platform requirements.
The Basics
Duration: Project-based, ad hoc assignments with the potential for ongoing work
Hours per week: Approximately 15 hours
Location requirements: Remote, flexible hours
Top 3 Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a video editor and motion graphics designer producing short-form promotional content
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, or comparable professional tools
- Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, color correction, and audio mixing
Other Qualifications
- Experience creating clean, modern motion graphics and animations is highly valued.
- The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, can manage multiple projects at once, and communicates effectively when collaborating with creative, marketing, and content partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 30 to 90-second promotional videos for digital platforms
- Design and animate motion graphics including lower thirds, transitions, title cards, logo animations, and explainer elements
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and content teams to understand goals and deliver visually compelling assets
- Organize and manage video footage, project files, and asset libraries
- Ensure all videos meet brand guidelines, quality standards, and platform specifications
- Incorporate music, sound effects, and voice-over elements into final edits
- Export, compress, and deliver final video files in required formats
