About The Role

We are seeking a talented and innovative full-time Video Editor & Motion Designer to join our creative team. This role requires a professional with a strong traditional craft in video editing and motion design who is also actively experimenting with AI and emerging tools to enhance their workflow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing and animating a wide variety of projects, primarily in a 16:9 format for OTT and broadcast platforms. You will work closely with our Creative Director, Head of Production, art directors, and copywriters to produce compelling visual content that aligns with client goals and brand strategies. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge AI tools into creative workflows, contributing to the agency’s innovative culture and growth. The role is fully remote, demanding excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of video editing and motion design experience in an agency, studio, or similar creative environment
  • Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Experience collaborating in Figma
  • Strong design fundamentals including typography, layout, composition, and motion principles
  • Proven ability to produce assets across various formats such as OTT/broadcast spots, digital advertising, long-form content, and social videos
  • Demonstrated skill in creating videos that are effective both with sound on and off, utilizing captions, kinetic typography, and visual storytelling techniques
  • Experience integrating AI-powered tools into video and motion workflows, with the ability to speak to what’s working
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail throughout the production process
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently when needed
  • Availability to work during standard PST business hours

Responsibilities

  • Edit video content across multiple formats, including OTT, broadcast, sizzle reels, digital ads, and social content, from concept to final delivery
  • Design and produce motion graphics for broadcast, OTT, digital campaigns, and other channels, ensuring clarity whether audio is on or off
  • Ensure all deliverables are on-brand, strategically aligned, and technically compliant with specifications
  • Collaborate closely with Creative Director, Head of Production, art directors, and copywriters throughout the creative process
  • Present work-in-progress cuts and final assets to internal teams and clients, incorporating feedback effectively
  • Maintain organized project files and adhere to delivery standards and deadlines
  • Bring innovative AI tools and workflow strategies into the creative process, sharing insights and experimenting with new technologies
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of internal video and motion practices as the team and tools grow
  • Support a fully remote work environment through clear communication, proactive collaboration, and self-management
