Role Overview:
One of our clients, a global leader in the technology industry, is seeking a skilled Video Editor to work on high-resolution video projects in a fully remote setting. This is a contractor role that involves leveraging advanced technical skills to train next-generation AI models using Linux-based post-production workflows with Cinelerra. As a Video Editor, you will collaborate with AI development teams to provide nuanced feedback and data for model training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit high-resolution media and manage complex timelines within Cinelerra on Linux to ensure broadcast-quality outputs
• Implement advanced compositing, motion tracking, and rendering pipelines to optimize video editing workflows
• Collaborate with AI development teams to provide nuanced feedback and data for model training
• Optimize video editing workflows and troubleshoot technical bottlenecks in post-production processes
• Document best practices and contribute to the creation of AI training datasets
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Advanced technical skills in video editing using Cinelerra on Linux
• Experience with high-resolution media and complex timelines
• Strong understanding of compositing, motion tracking, and rendering pipelines
• Ability to collaborate with AI development teams and provide nuanced feedback
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey findings and progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders
