Role Overview
- We’re looking for a highly creative and skilled Video Editor who can take ownership of content and bring fresh, original ideas to the table
- Someone who doesn’t just execute but actively contributes to storytelling and creative direction
- This is a full-time, in-office role based in Pune
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality video content for social media (Instagram Reels, ads, campaigns, brand storytelling, etc.)
- Conceptualize and execute engaging video formats aligned with brand identity
- Take ownership of projects from raw footage to final output
- Collaborate with the content and marketing team to ideate and improve creative output
- Stay updated with trends, formats, and editing styles to keep content relevant and high-performing
- Ensure fast turnaround times while maintaining quality
Must-Have Requirements
- Strong proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.)
- Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics
- Ability to independently think, ideate, and execute without constant direction
- Experience in editing short-form content (Reels, TikTok-style videos, ads)
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and experiment with new styles and tools
Good to Have
- Familiarity with AI-based editing tools and workflows
- Basic to intermediate motion graphics skills
- Experience working with fast-paced content environments
- Understanding of performance-driven content (what works, what converts)
Bonus Points
- Prior experience working with D2C brands
- Experience in skincare, beauty, or wellness industry
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative thinking, not just execution
