This role is ideal for someone who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-retention videos designed for platforms like Instagram, You Tube, and Linked In. The editor should have a strong sense of pacing, visual storytelling, and familiarity with current digital content trends.
Key Responsibilities
• Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media platforms.
• Craft compelling narratives from raw footage, ensuring strong pacing and viewer engagement.
• Incorporate graphics, subtitles, transitions, and sound design to enhance content quality.
• Collaborate with strategists and creators to execute content ideas effectively.
• Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and platform-specific best practices.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
• Stay updated with editing styles, formats, and social media trends.
Requirements
• 2-3 years of professional video editing experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and basic knowledge of After Effects.
• Strong understanding of social media video formats and trends.
• Good sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced content environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to take feedback constructively.
Good to Have
• Experience editing Reels, Shorts, or viral-style social media content.
• Basic motion graphics skills.
• Understanding of sound design and music selection.
• Understanding of insert and clip selection.
