Role Description
We're looking for a video editor to work with us on-site at our Poringland studio on a contract basis. You'll be turning footage into stories that land for our clients, working closely with our director Tom and the extended team, across a wide mix of projects.
Day to day, that means assembling raw footage into a strong edit, refining pace and rhythm, layering in motion graphics, sound and visuals, and making sure each project hits the standard before it goes out the door.
We're not looking for someone to push buttons. We want an editor with opinions and instincts, who'll spot what's missing, and who'll push the work until it earns its place.
Qualifications
- Strong fluency across the Adobe Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects
- A real feel for storytelling: pace, rhythm, structure, what to keep and what to lose
- Solid technical skills in colour grading, audio mixing and compositing
- Comfortable working closely with directors, producers and designers
