End-to-End Video Ownership
The B2B landscape has shifted. Static content is no longer enough; our clients need high-impact video to cut through the noise. We are looking for a Video Editor who wants to move beyond "just cutting clips" and instead act as a Creative Lead for our video function.
We need a pro who can facilitate the entire production cycle—from hopping on a call to record the raw interview to delivering the final, polished product. You aren’t just an editor; you are a producer and the architect of the final viewer experience.
This involves:
- Production Facilitation: Leading online recording sessions (via Zoom, Riverside, or similar) with clients, ensuring they look and sound their best.
- Full Post-Production Ownership: Managing the workflow from raw capture to final export and delivery.
- Narrative Editing: Cutting for flow, tone, and clarity, ensuring the B2B message is communicated effectively.
- Motion Graphics & Animation: Using After Effects to create sleek on-screen elements, lower thirds, and technical animations.
- Sound Design & Branding: Selecting the perfect soundtrack and designing high-click-rate thumbnails that align with the client’s brand.
- Operational Excellence: Being a reliable team member who attends team meetings, proactively updates our project management systems, and keeps stakeholders informed on project status
Must-Haves
- Adobe Power User: Total mastery of Premiere Pro and After Effects is non-negotiable.
- Client-Facing Professionalism: You are comfortable, articulate, and professional on camera. You can lead a recording session with a client executive without supervision.
- Technical Facilitation: You understand the nuances of remote recording (lighting, audio troubleshooting, and recording software).
- Creative Autonomy: You can take a vision and run with it, making smart decisions on music, pacing, and visual style without hand-holding.
- Precision & English Fluency: High attention to detail regarding timing, spelling, and following brand guidelines.
The Path
1. Application (Now): Submit your portfolio and info through Workello.
2. The "Virtual Walkthrough" Test: Selected candidates will be given a brief. Your task is to record a short Loom video showing us similar work from your portfolio and explaining exactly how you would approach editing our specific brief.
3. 30-Min Interview: A culture-fit chat to see if we’re a match.
4. Trial Phase: We will start with a few paid projects to ensure we’re a great fit before scaling up to a full-time workload. Our priority is finding an "A-player" who wants to own this department long-term.
Pay & Volume
We are looking for a long-term partner to own our video function. We currently have a steady workflow of 25–35 hours per week. Rate: $15-18 USD per hour (Paid in your local currency) depending on candidate quality and experience.
