About the role:
Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to help produce high-quality video content for marketing, client education, and social media campaigns. This role is critical in shaping the firm’s online presence and communicating complex legal topics in an engaging and understandable way.
The position involves editing video content, adding graphics and subtitles, and ensuring all videos align with brand guidelines. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, highly organized, and experienced in producing professional video content for a US audience.
US Law Firm Experience Is Preferred.
What you’ll be doing:
- Edit raw video footage into polished final content suitable for social media, website, and client-facing materials.
- Add captions, graphics, and animations to enhance clarity and engagement.
- Ensure all content aligns with the firm’s brand, tone, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with marketing and legal teams to create educational videos and promotional content.
- Optimize video content for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines.
- Maintain organized video libraries and project files for easy retrieval and reuse.
- Stay up to date with video editing trends and software tools to continuously improve output quality.
Who are we looking for?
- 2+ years of experience in video editing, preferably for professional services or US-based clients.
- Strong proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, visual storytelling, and subtitling.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms and understanding platform-specific requirements.
- Ability to handle sensitive topics with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback.
Position: Video Editor
Remote Status: Fully Remote
Preferred Location: Latin America, South Africa
Working Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm EST
Holidays: US Federal Holidays
Salary: USD 1000 – USD 1400 per month
