Position: VFX Compositor Role
Shape captivating animated visuals as a VFX Compositor in Vancouver. Collaborate in a hybrid work setup, creating stunning images that tell powerful stories.
We’re on the lookout for a talented Compositor with at least 3 years of experience in VFX for animated or live-action films. This role emphasizes collaboration with the Production Designer and Lighting team to achieve continuity in complex shots. Your artistic sensibility and advanced skills in Nuke will drive the quality of our visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on look development with creative leads
• Create scalable look setups for complex sequences
• Proactively solve visual challenges during production
• Mentor less experienced compositors within the team
• Stay updated on current animation and filmmaking processes
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in compositing for VFX
• Strong expertise in developing looks and applying colour theory
• Comprehensive experience with Nuke and CG workflows
• Ability to design troubleshooting tools and procedures
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
