Position: Technical Art Preparator for Gallery Operations

You’ll work closely with the Sales Team while also demonstrating independence in executing various responsibilities. Regular duties include unpacking, crating artworks, maintaining gallery standards, and transporting art to exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the unpacking and preparation of artworks
• Perform installation and packing for various projects
• Ensure safe artwork transport and efficient loading/unloading
• Execute basic carpentry and crate construction tasks
• Maintain gallery cleanliness and organization
Requirements:
• Strong attention to detail and task prioritization
• Knowledge of art framing and installation best practices
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in gallery or museum settings desirable
• Valid driver’s license and comfort with a commercial van
