About the Role
As a Contract Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will be the engine that keeps our recruiting machine running smoothly. You will be the main point of contact for candidates, ensuring their interview journey is seamless, professional, and welcoming. This is a fully remote, contract position perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves problem-solving complex schedules, and genuinely cares about candidate care.
Responsibilities
- Master the Calendar: Coordinate and schedule a high volume of interviews (phone, video, and panels) across multiple time zones, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Candidate Advocacy: Serve as the primary touchpoint for candidates, guiding them through the interview process, answering logistics questions, and keeping them updated.
- ATS Management: Maintain impeccable data integrity within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), moving candidates through stages and posting job descriptions.
- Partnership: Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and optimize the hiring workflow.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the hiring loop and suggest creative ways to make our recruiting process even more efficient.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a coordinator role, preferably within talent acquisition, HR, or a fast-paced startup environment.
Required Skills
- Scheduling Wizardry: Proven ability to manage complex, shifting calendars (experience with Google Workspace and ATS platforms like Greenhouse or Lever is a major plus).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication. You can deliver bad news with empathy and good news with enthusiasm.
- Hyper-Organized: A knack for details. You rarely let things slip through the cracks, even when juggling multiple tasks at once.
- Adaptability: A resilient attitude toward shifting priorities and the ability to problem-solve on the fly.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
