THE ROLE:
Bared Footwear is looking for a Stylist & Content Creator to become a recognisable, trusted style authority for the brand across social, live shopping and digital content. You'll appear on camera regularly, speaking with authority and warmth about how to wear, style and live with Bared shoes.
Think elevated every day. Aspirational, but not distant. You dress at a considered, fashion-forward level, and you can articulate why – and make that knowledge feel accessible, not intimidating. You're the person who understands both the editorial eye and the real person getting dressed, and you can hold both at once.
This is a newly created role that sits within the Creative team, reporting to the Head of Creative. Full-time, part-time, casual or freelance. All are welcome to apply.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):
- A creator-first hybrid where you become a familiar, authoritative face of styling at Bared
- Fashion and style-led, grounded in a fashion authority's perspective, delivered with warmth and accessibility
- A chance to define what footwear styling content looks like at a premium Australian brand
- Self-sufficient: you source, style, plan and film with vision and initiative
- Appear regularly across short-form video for Instagram, TikTok, live shopping, EDM and paid social, speaking with authority and warmth about how to style and wear Bared shoes.
- Create educational, trend-aware content that teaches customers how to build outfits with Bared shoes across different occasions, seasons and lifestyle moments.
- Host live shopping sessions, bringing expertise, personality and genuine knowledge of how the shoes work into a conversational, engaging format.
- Develop and edit content end-to-end using tools such as CapCut, Reels, and TikTok in-app.
- Plan and run filming days: pull the looks, conceptualise the content stories, organise logistics, execute with confidence.
- Lead the styling for Instagram content shoots, social campaigns, staff styling sessions, flat lays and day-to-day styling.
- Source clothing, accessories and props independently with a clear editorial eye. You have the network, the taste and the resourcefulness to pull together elevated, considered looks without waiting on direction.
- Build outfit narratives that lead with the Bared shoe and feel fashion-forward, considered, and wearable.
- Steam, prep and dress talent on set when filming or collaborating with the wider content team.
- Maintain consistency in Bared's styling aesthetic: trend-aware, quality-led, editorial-standard, elevated everyday.
- Stay across global fashion trends, cultural moments and emerging styling conversations and present to the Head of Creative.
- Collaborate with the Social and Content teams on content storylines and seasonal planning.
- Bring fresh ideas that sit at the intersection of fashion authority and real-life dressing.
ABOUT YOU:
- 3+ years' experience in a content and styling role, either in-house at a contemporary or premium brand, at an agency, or as a creator with a strong style-led portfolio.
- A showreel with two distinct parts: (a) on-camera short-form content you've appeared in (6–12 examples across TikTok, Reels or similar), and (b) styled looks and outfits you've put together that demonstrate your eye (social content, lookbooks, personal styling work).
- A genuine fashion and style authority. You understand trends, classics, proportion, colour, texture and how they work together. You can articulate why something works, not just that it does.
- Warm and charismatic on camera, you make style feel accessible and grounded.
- Self-sufficient and visionary. You source your own samples, conceptualise your own content, plan your own filming days, and bring ideas to the table — not waiting to be directed.
- Footwear and accessory styling literacy. You build outfits around the shoe and understand how to make footwear the hero of a look.
- A refined personal style that sits alongside Bared's aesthetic: contemporary, considered, elevated, textured, and editorial.
- Proficient in CapCut, Reels and TikTok's in-app editing tools.
- Commercial awareness. You understand that styling is a sales tool, and you can teach styling in a way that builds customer confidence and desire.
- Organised on set, collaborative across teams, and able to run several content streams in parallel.
- A valid driver's licence and personal vehicle

- Live shopping or live-stream styling experience.
- Tertiary qualification in fashion, styling, communications, journalism or visual arts.
- Retail or showroom experience where you've styled customers at an elevated level.
