Surya Sound Temple is a private, musician-led studio and creative sanctuary based in Bushwick, Brooklyn—built for instrumentalists, producers, and artists exploring sound as both craft and consciousness.
Our studio operates as a living ecosystem of projects, classes, and experiences, including:
• Electrobones – a handcrafted wooden MIDI percussion instrument and acoustic pickup system
• Khartal – reimagined ergonomic hand percussion rooted in traditional Indian rhythm
• Speedbag Drummer – a rhythmic training system merging percussion and movement
• Flakeb00k – a visual art and sticker-based storytelling project
Alongside these projects, we host immersive classes, sound meditation sessions, percussion workshops, recording sessions, and monthly Full Moon gatherings—bringing together a global community of artists and creators.
This is not a conventional studio. It is a focused, intentional space for disciplined creativity, experimentation, and cultural exchange.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Studio Growth & Partnerships Manager to help expand the reach of Surya Sound Temple across its many projects and offerings.
This role sits at the intersection of community building, creative outreach, and revenue generation—connecting the right people to the right experiences within the studio.
Your focus will be to:
👉 Bring people into the space—students, artists, collaborators, and clients.

What You’ll Do
Grow the Studio Ecosystem
• Promote classes, workshops, and sound-based experiences
• Increase attendance across weekly programming
Drive Studio Bookings
• Connect with musicians, producers, podcasters, and creators
• Book recording sessions, content production, and streaming services
Build Creative Partnerships
• Develop relationships with artists, instructors, and cultural organizations
• Create collaborations that align with Surya Sound Temple’s vision
Lead Outreach & Conversions
• Conduct outreach via Instagram, email, and in-person connections
• Respond to inquiries and convert interest into bookings
Support Creative Direction
• Work closely with the founder on ideas, activations, and growth opportunities across projects

• Comfortable with outreach, communication, and light sales
• Organized, self-directed, and able to operate within a fluid creative environment
