AZYR Specs is looking for a Studio & Operations Intern to assist with the day-to-day operational side of a growing vintage eyewear company based in New York City.
AZYR Specs sources rare vintage and deadstock eyewear from around the world and works across fashion, film, design, retail, and archival storytelling. As the company continues to expand across multiple retail locations, pop-ups, and showroom operations, we are looking for someone organized, reliable, and proactive to assist with the physical and operational side of the business.
Responsibilities may include:
• Running inventory to and from storage
• Assisting with packaging and shipping orders
• Helping organize inventory and showroom spaces
• Assisting with lightbox photography of eyewear
• Labeling and preparing inventory for pop-ups and stockists
• Supporting market and event preparation
• Assisting with inventory organization and operational tasks
• Occasional errands and logistical support around NYC
Ideal Candidate:
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Reliable and proactive
• Comfortable handling vintage objects carefully
• Interested in design, fashion, archives, or creative operations
• Able to work independently and stay on top of tasks
• Comfortable moving around New York City
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in learning about the operational side of a growing creative business and gaining hands-on experience in retail systems, inventory management, and showroom operations.
Position is unpaid, however subway transportation and lunch will be covered.
