STUDIO ARTIST AND FABRICATION
The Studio Fabricator supports the design and build of experiential components, working across materials including foam, metal, wood, laminates, and plastics. This role is hands-on and production-focused, requiring a solid foundation in fabrication techniques and the ability to execute work with quality and efficiency.
- Fabricate and finish experiential components across a variety of materials
- Operate shop tools and equipment including saws, drill presses, air tools, shears, tube benders, and basic CNC equipment
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings to accurately execute builds
- Support installation of hardware, basic electrical components, and client products as needed
- Assist in set-up and takedown of experiential components
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
- Properly use and maintain company equipment
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project goals and deadlines
- Partner with senior fabricators and project teams to validate build approaches and solve production challenges
Skills & Requirements
- Working knowledge of fabrication techniques and materials (wood, metal, foam, plastics)
- Comfortable operating power tools and shop equipment safely and effectively
- Ability to read and follow fabrication drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and stay productive in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with clear and professional communication
- Willingness to continue learning and expanding skillsets (CNC, finishing, electrical, etc.)
- Ability to lift materials and work in an active shop setting
- Forklift and lift equipment experience preferred (or ability to be trained)
- Contribute to efficient, high-quality project execution, Support team collaboration and problem-solving on builds
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and accountable work style
- Actively participate in improving processes, tools, and workflows
