Job Title: STRATEGIC PLANNER AND COPYWRITER

Location: 75 Ho Hao Hon, Cau Ong Lanh Ward, HCMC

Working Hours: 09:00 – 18:00, Monday – Friday

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Development

– Critically analyze and reframe briefs through the lens of brand growth and business impact.

– Identify the core business challenge behind each brief and translate it into a focused communication problem to solve.

– Synthesize market trends, category dynamics, cultural signals, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior into meaningful insights.

– Transform research findings into strategic opportunities that unlock strong creative and communication ideas.

– Build strategic models across brand positioning, communication strategy, IMC planning, and social/digital campaign planning.

– Define messaging frameworks, audience direction, communication territories, and touchpoint strategies across the customer journey.

2. Creative Collaboration & Copy Development

– Develop big ideas, campaign concepts, communication narratives, and strategic directions aligned with campaign objectives.

– Write and develop high-quality content in both Vietnamese and English across a wide range of formats, including campaign messaging, social content, website copy, digital campaign content, branded content, video scripts, taglines, slogans, key messages, and value propositions.

– Build content strategies aligned with brand positioning and marketing objectives.

– Ensure verbal expression is aligned with strategy, tone of voice, creative direction, and platform requirements.

– Work closely with Account, Multimedia, SEO, and other relevant teams to ensure verbal and visual elements are cohesive.

– Contribute to the development of content frameworks, IMC frameworks, and implementation directions for cross-functional teams such as PR, Social, and Media.

3. Campaign Effectiveness & Optimization

– Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks based on both brand metrics and communication metrics where relevant.

– Monitor campaign and content performance throughout the campaign lifecycle.

– Analyze results and provide timely strategic and content recommendations to improve effectiveness.

– Participate in pre-test, post-test, and related research or evaluation activities when required.

4. Quality Assurance

– Ensure copy, layout, and creative execution support one another and remain aligned with the approved strategic direction.

– Track progress and coordinate priorities with relevant internal teams to maintain quality and consistency throughout production and campaign delivery.

– Support the maintenance and improvement of internal content and strategic standards.

5. New Business & Other Responsibilities

– Collaborate in developing idea proposals and campaign proposals for potential clients when needed.

– Stay updated on marketing and communication trends, product developments, consumer behavior, category movements, emerging technologies, and local culture to ensure ideas remain relevant, effective, and innovative.

– Perform other duties or projects related to strategy, content, and creative development as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

– Minimum of 5 years of experience in Strategic Planning, Copywriting, Communication Planning, Brand Planning, or related roles, preferably in advertising, communication, creative, or digital agencies.

– Strong understanding of marketing strategy, brand strategy, communication strategy, and integrated campaign development.

– Excellent writing, storytelling, and presentation skills in both Vietnamese.

– Strong sense of ownership, accountability, adaptability, and solution-oriented thinking.

– Ability to analyze content and campaign performance and provide optimization recommendations.

– Able to work effectively with internal teams and handle execution with consistency and professionalism.

SUCCESS METRICS/KPIS REFERENCE

– Ability to support measurable improvements in campaign effectiveness and/or brand performance.

– Contribution to strong and scalable strategic and creative idea platforms.

– High quality and consistency of strategic and verbal output.

– 100% on-time delivery for communication, planning, requests, publishing, and reporting tasks.

– Strong performance across content/campaign KPIs where relevant.

– Timely and professional handling of publishing and audience response across social channels.
