Job Description
We are a growing Canadian cleaning and services company looking for a reliable, creative, and detail-oriented virtual assistant to help with short-form video creation, editing, and SEO-friendly content for our social media platforms.
This role is long-term for the right person.
Responsibilities
Edit and create short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
Turn raw clips into engaging content using hooks, captions, and subtitles
Create content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook , and YouTube Shorts
Add on-screen text, captions, music, and transitions
Repurpose content across platforms
Write SEO-optimized captions and hashtags
Follow brand guidelines and tone
Organize content and meet posting deadlines
Requirements
Experience editing short-form vertical videos
Familiar with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or Canva
Understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends
Basic SEO knowledge (keywords, hashtags, search intent)
Good English communication skills
Organized, consistent, and proactive
Able to work independently
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Experience with service-based businesses
Knowledge of local SEO
Ability to suggest content ideas
Experience managing posting schedules
Familiarity with Google Business Profile or blog content
Hours & Pay
Part-time to start (5–15 hours per week)
Opportunity to grow into more hours
Pay based on experience
