Role Description
HARM is seeking a Social Media Strategist to join our team in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. In this role, you will develop and execute social media strategies, create engaging content plans, optimize social media performance, and manage public-facing communications. This role will involve analyzing campaign metrics to build audience engagement, fostering brand awareness, and ensuring brand messaging aligns with our mission of transforming community support services.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
- Strong communication and public relations skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives across platforms
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing content strategies that drive growth and engagement
- Proficiency with social media tools, analytics platforms, and content management systems
- Hands-on experience managing and publishing content across key platforms, including Instagram, Facebook (Meta), TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
- Deep understanding of platform algorithms, including best practices for posting cadence, captions, hashtags, and trend optimization
- Proven track record of growing social channels, increasing engagement, and building audience communities
- Ability to schedule, manage, and optimize content pipelines efficiently
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (creative, product, marketing, etc.)
- Familiarity with community service, civic tech, or public health initiatives is a plus
- Experience with Meta Ads / Meta Business Suite and/or Google Ads is preferred, but not required
- Strong ability to build, scale, and optimize social media channels from the ground up
- Must be based in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
