Our client is a law firm specializing in family law matters. They focus on building brand authority and providing social proof to potential clients through high-quality digital content. The firm currently has 16 employees in the office and is looking to expand its virtual team to support growth and revenue-driving initiatives.
About the role:
We are seeking a creative, highly organized Social Media Specialist & Video Editor to lead our client's digital presence. This role is essential for a "big picture" founder who needs a proactive partner to manage content strategy, execute high-end video editing, and maintain a consistent social media calendar. The ideal candidate is not just "hands" for execution but a "brain" capable of suggesting ideas and using modern tools like AI to enhance the firm's authority.
What you’ll be doing:
- Video Production: Editing long-form videos (10–30 minutes) for YouTube and the website with high production value (jump cuts, transitions, keyframing).
- Content Repurposing: Splicing long-form content into shorter reels, TikToks, and social posts to maximize reach.
- Social Media Management: Creating, getting approval for, and scheduling a monthly content calendar.
- Brand Authority: Ensuring all content reflects a professional, authoritative voice suitable for family law — prioritizing social proof over "viral" or "silly" trends.
- AI Integration: Experimenting with AI tools and avatars to improve onboarding and training processes.
- Organization: Manage and track ideas, notes, and inputs from the founder to ensure the timely execution of creative concepts.
Who are we looking for?
- 2+ years of experience as a Video Editor and Social Media Specialist.
- Proven experience in video editing (Premiere Pro or similar) and social media management.
- Strong understanding of content strategy (how to turn one video into many assets).
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple creative projects independently.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience working with a US law firm is a plus
Position: Social Media Specialist & Video Editor
Remote Status: Fully Remote
Preferred Location: Latin America, South Africa
Working Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm EST
Holidays: US Federal Holidays
Salary: USD 1600 – USD 1900 per month
