Are you our next Social Media Specialist?
We are looking for a creative and performance minded Social Media Specialist to work closely with our Digital Marketing Manager. This role is hands-on and strategic, combining content creation, social media advertising and ongoing optimisation.
You will be responsible for turning business goals into engaging social content that educates, builds trust, and drives enquiries. Experience in professional services or finance is a strong advantage, but the right mindset and execution skills matter most.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy and Planning
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop social media strategies aligned with brand awareness and lead generation goals
- Plan and manage content calendars across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
- Identify opportunities to improve performance based on data, trends and audience behaviour
Content Creation
- Create high quality social media content including graphics, carousels, short form videos, reels and stories
- Use Canva confidently for day to day content creation
- Write clear, engaging captions that explain accounting and tax topics in a simple and relatable way
- Repurpose internal content, promotions, FAQs and testimonials into social media assets
Supporting Responsibilities
Paid Social Advertising
- Set up, manage and optimise paid social campaigns on Meta platforms and LinkedIn
- Test audiences, creatives and messaging to improve results
- Monitor performance metrics such as CTR, CPL and conversions and report insights
Community Management
- Respond to comments and messages in a professional and on brand manner
- Monitor feedback and common questions to inform future content
Reporting and Optimisation
- Prepare regular performance reports with insights and recommendations
- Continuously optimise content and ads based on performance data
Qualifications
Must Have
- At least 2 years of experience managing social media and creative content writing for a brand or agency. Please include a link to your portfolio in your resume when submitting your application.
- Strong content creation skills, especially using Canva
- Experience running paid social ads on Facebook and Instagram
- Understanding of social media trends, formats and best practices
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools
- Strong written communication skills in English
Nice to Have
- Experience in accounting, tax, finance or professional services
- Experience with LinkedIn ads or any other advertising platform
