As our Social Media Specialist, you will own that presence across the full Astir portfolio: creating content, building communities and ensuring every channel reflects our standards.
Reporting to the Group Marketing Lead, you will work closely with the Creative Director & Brand Architect, the internal graphic designer, and property teams across the portfolio to keep Astir's social presence sharp, consistent, and always-on.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and manage Astir's social media presence across all platforms -Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and emerging channels – ensuring a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
- Develop and execute a monthly content calendar aligned with campaigns, seasonal activations, F&B moments, retail launches, and key brand milestones.
- Create and produce compelling content -copy, photography direction, video and reels either independently or in collaboration with the internal designer and -external creators.
- Manage community engagement across all channels: responding to comments and messages, nurturing the audience, and representing the brand with warmth and professionalism.
- Monitor social performance across all channels, reporting on key metrics and translating data into actionable recommendations.
- Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes, and cultural moments relevant to the brand, and bring proactive ideas to the team.
- Support campaign launches with platform-native content tailored to each channel's format and audience.
- Collaborate with the CRM and marketing team to align social content with broader audience and retention strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Your experience and skills include:
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in social media management, content creation and publishing for a brand, agency, or in-house team.
- A strong portfolio of content across Instagram and TikTok, both copy and visual direction and proficiency in handling all major social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X)
- Proven ability to create content & cover events/activations through creative storytelling across short-form video, photo, and audio formats via CapCut, Edits, Canva.
- Proven experience in working with AI tools and systems.
- Solid understanding of social media analytics and reporting on performance.
- Background in hospitality, luxury, retail, or events is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related field.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Copywriting skills in both Greek and English -able to adapt tone across platforms and audiences.
