The Social Media Officer is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of CloudEats’ social media presence across all brands and platforms. The role ensures that social media channels consistently publish engaging content, maintain active community engagement, and support overall brand growth. In addition, the Social Media Officer will support organic PR efforts through KOL seeding and influencer coordination, helping expand brand reach and credibility through relevant content creators. The role also oversees social content production workflows, coordinates with cross-functional teams to address customer concerns, and works with the media agency to support paid amplification of priority content.
Main Duties
Social Media Management & Content Publishing
- Manage the day-to-day operations of all brand social media accounts across platforms such as Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, and other emerging channels.
- Post in-house produced content across all brands and channels based on the approved content calendar.
- Ensure timely and accurate publishing of all scheduled content.
- Monitor platform trends and recommend opportunities to improve engagement and reach.
- Ensure brand tone, messaging, and visual identity remain consistent across all social media touchpoints.
Community Management
- Manage community engagement across all brands and social media channels.
- Respond to customer inquiries, comments, and direct messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor social media conversations and identify emerging issues, opportunities, and brand sentiment.
- Escalate and coordinate resolution of customer concerns with relevant cross-functional teams (operations, customer support, commercial team, etc.).
- Maintain a positive brand voice and customer experience in all public-facing interactions.
Influencer & KOL Seeding
- Identify and build relationships with relevant KOLs and content creators aligned with CloudEats brands.
- Coordinate the end-to-end execution of KOL seeding initiatives, including outreach, product deliveries, and briefing of creators.
- Monitor and track influencer posts, engagement, and content quality.
- Maintain a database of KOLs and influencers across different categories and audience segments.
- Provide insights and recommendations on potential influencer partnerships to support brand campaigns.
Content Operations & Team Coordination
- Oversee interns responsible for developing social media content calendars and producing short-form video content (reels, TikTok).
- Coordinate with Creative Consultants responsible for producing static social media content.
- Ensure quality, consistency, and alignment of all social media outputs with brand strategy.
- Support the Brand and Creatives teams in executing social media campaigns and content initiatives.
Media & Campaign Support
- Coordinate with the media agency to ensure proper boosting and promotion of priority social media content.
- Assist in tracking performance of boosted posts and social media campaigns.
- Work with internal teams to ensure alignment between organic content and paid media initiatives.
Social Media Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and monitor social media metrics including engagement, reach, sentiment, and response times.
- Monitor performance of KOL seeding initiatives and influencer content.
- Prepare regular reports summarizing social media performance and community insights.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve content strategy, community engagement, and influencer collaborations.
Other duties and tasks as may be assigned.
