THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a Social Media & Marketing Coordinator who is equal parts community manager, creative coordinator, designer and detail-driven executor. You’ll work directly alongside our Marketing lead to manage the Hello Nori brand across social media, coordinate with our external creative contractors, and ensure every piece of content and collateral that goes out is accurate, on-brand, and on time.

This is not a post and ghost social media role. You’ll be deeply embedded in the day-to-day rhythm of a multi-location restaurant brand. Briefing designers, reviewing files, managing community engagement, and helping coordinate campaigns across 7 active locations. You need to understand how restaurants actually work, and you need to care about the details.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Social Media Management

  • Manage Hello Nori’s social media presence day-to-day across Instagram and other platforms, writing captions, scheduling posts, and maintaining a consistent content calendar
  • Engage with the community by responding to comments and DMs promptly and in the Hello Nori brand voice
  • Coordinate influencer visits and content creator partnerships from outreach and scheduling through to content review and posting
  • Monitor performance and flag what’s working and what’s not to the Marketing lead

Graphic Design

  • Work collaboratively with our teams (chefs and managers) and content creators, contributing ideas and creative direction while ensuring deliverables stay on brand, on brief, and on schedule
  • Produce and edit creative assets independently when needed (graphics, image edits, simple video cuts). You don’t need to be a senior designer, but you need to be comfortable in Canva and Adobe tools
  • Review all creative assets before they go live or to print, checking for accuracy in pricing, copy, and brand consistency across all 7 locations
  • Maintain and organize our digital asset library so the team can always find what they need

Multi-Location Coordination

  • Build relationships with each Hello Nori location to understand their upcoming needs, promotions, and location-specific initiatives
  • Coordinate print materials including menus, A-frames, and signage by managing updates, proofreading files thoroughly, and liaising with print vendors
  • Support marketing campaigns by coordinating assets and deadlines across locations

Campaign & Opening Support

  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns, Moola drops, email campaigns, and promotional initiatives by coordinating assets and timelines
  • Help bring new location openings to life from influencer coordination and content creation through to launch collateral
  • Assist with local brand partnership activations as directed by the Marketing lead
  • Support review platforms

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

This role requires a specific combination of social savvy, creative eye, and operational discipline. Please read carefully before applying.

  • 5 years of experience in social media management, marketing coordination, or a similar role.
  • Restaurant or hospitality experience is a must have.
  • Hands-on experience managing Instagram for a brand (not just personal accounts). Please include examples in your application
  • Comfortable briefing and managing creative contractors. You know how to give clear direction and follow up without micromanaging
  • Ability to produce and edit basic creative assets yourself using Canva, Adobe tools, or similar
  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially with pricing, menu copy, and anything going to print. Errors cost real money and this role owns that accuracy
  • Strong written communication skills. You can write in a brand voice, not just your own
  • Highly organized and self-directed. You manage your own workload across multiple projects and locations without needing constant oversight
  • Genuine understanding of restaurant marketing. You know how menus work, what drives foot traffic, and why consistency across locations matters
  • Video editing experience is a definite plus
  • You must be legally able to work in Canada
  • You are willing to work on-site at our downtown Vancouver office

  • You’ve only managed your own social media or a single personal brand account
  • You need significant direction or check-ins to stay on track
  • You’ve never worked in or around a restaurant or food service environment
  • Proofreading and accuracy feel like afterthoughts rather than non-negotiables
  • You’re a pure creative who doesn’t enjoy the coordination and operational side of marketing
