Compensation: $22 per hour
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Social Media Manager & Content Creator to help manage client accounts, coordinate content production, and ensure marketing projects run smoothly.
This position is primarily remote (approximately 80%), with occasional in-person meetings across the Greater Toronto Area. The role may also include attending photo or video shoots where an extra set of hands is helpful, as well as joining client meetings to assist with presentations or take notes.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with team members and clients, and capable of managing multiple social media accounts and content schedules simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and organize social media content across multiple client accounts
• Draft captions and marketing copy for posts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, X, Tik-Tok and LinkedIn
• Schedule and publish social media posts
• Coordinate content approvals with clients prior to publishing
• Maintain content calendars and ensure consistent posting schedules
• Respond to emails and assist with general administrative and organizational tasks
• Communicate with internal team members including video editors and web developers to monitor project progress
• Organize content assets such as videos, graphics, and captions
• Assist with simple graphic design for posts when needed
• Maintain organized records of content, approvals, and deliverables
• Attend occasional client meetings to assist with presentations or take notes
• Assist at occasional photo or video shoots when an extra set of hands is needed
Qualifications
• Experience managing social media accounts for brands or businesses
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Experience working with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Familiarity with CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro
• Familiarity with Canva
• Must have drivers license and access to a vehicle
• Experience writing social media captions and marketing copy
• Comfortable coordinating with remote teams
• Awareness of social media trends and short-form content formats
• Fluent written and spoken English
Nice to Have
• College or university degree in marketing, communications, media, or a related field
• Familiarity with photography or videography equipment
• Comfort assisting at photo or video shoots
• Experience working in a marketing agency environment
Compensation & Benefits
• $22 per hour
