Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join the Marketing team and own Beanz’s presence across all social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, Snapchat, LinkedIn & more).

This is not an entry-level role. You are expected to execute independently, move fast, and maintain high creative and content standards while managing multiple channels at once. You’ll also help shape how social media is run as the brand scales. 

Requires prior experience working cross-functionally across departments, closely with graphic designers, and externally with partners. The role reports directly into the Marketing Head of Department.

Your Mission & Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a social media presence that is on-brand, culturally relevant, and built to perform, driving awareness, engagement, and community across every platform.
  • Owning the content calendar across all social channels.
  • Serving as the in-house content creator, must be comfortable appearing on camera, recording voiceovers, and producing organic video content independently
  • Briefing & directing social videographers and influencers to ensure output is on-brand and brief-aligned
  • Briefing and directing creatives on formats, hooks, and campaign direction
  • Writing captions, scripts, and copy that reflect the brand tone of voice
  • Scheduling, publishing, and managing day-to-day posting
  • Actively managing comments, DMs, and community engagement
  • Spotting trends early and moving fast to capitalise on relevant moments
  • Tracking reach, engagement, growth, and content performance weekly
  • Reporting on social KPIs and surfacing actionable insights to the team
  • Identifying and coordinating with all kinds of content creators & influencers (Nano to Macro)
  • Sourcing and curating user-generated content
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality, whilst iterating quickly based on feedback and performance data

What We Expect

  • Minimum 5+ years of professional social media management experience
  • A true content creator skillset, comfortable in front of the camera, recording voiceovers, and self-producing short-form video
  • Prior experience in apps (ideal) or lifestyle, fashion, premium brands, or strong consumer brands is required, you must be able to reference specific accounts you’ve grown, campaigns you’ve run, and results you’ve owned. 
  • Brings a strong track record of growing accounts and building engaged communities through organic and paid strategies
  • Has worked with influencers and content creators in the region, including managing talent, rates, and calendars
  • Platform-native across key channels (TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, X, and Facebook)
  • Reliable, accountable, and delivery-focused, that thrives in fast-moving environments with multiple priorities

Tools & Skills

  • Scheduling & Publishing: Experience using any of the common social listening/scheduling platforms such as Hootsuite, Meltwater, Sprout
  • Reporting: comfortable with numbers & reports, with strong excel being an ideal aspect.
  • Social Analytics: Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Sprout Social, or Hootsuite Analytics
  • Paid & Boosting: Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Snapchat Ads Manager
  • Social Listening: Meltwater, Brandwatch, Mention, Sprout Social Listening, or Talkwalker
  • Content & Editing: CapCut, InShot, Canva, or Adobe Express
  • Strong fundamentals in: copywriting and brand voice, content strategy, community management, and performance tracking
  • AI Proficiency: We expect you to know how to properly use AI to move faster and produce more output (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude)
  • Experience in Runway, Sora, Google AI Studio, is a plus

Before You Apply

  • Experience in tech startups (preferred) or lifestyle & premium brands is essential, you will be asked to provide work references and case examples during the hiring process. If you can’t point to specific accounts, metrics, or campaigns, this role isn’t for you.
  • Must be comfortable on camera and directing short-form video content
  • Strong familiarity with influencer/creator management, negotiations, and planning
  • This role is Abu Dhabi-based, hybrid to start with expectation to be fully in-office
  • Fast turnaround expectation across multiple channels
