ABOUT THE ROLE
At 1DS Collective, the Social Media Manager is the creative engine of the pod. You own the day-to-day content, including concepts, scripts, calendars, and execution, for personal brands, D2C companies, and category-leading health and wellness clients that our strategists have positioned. You don't just post content; you create it, test it, and make it perform.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
• Researching what's working in the client's space and bringing fresh, relevant ideas to the table daily
• Writing scripts and concepts for short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
• Building and managing the monthly content calendar
• Preparing shot lists and production briefs ahead of every shoot day
• Passing footage and clear notes to editors, and reviewing cuts before they go live
• Posting across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Running trial reels, boosting posts, and iterating based on performance
• Community management, including comments, DMs, engagement, and DM automation
• Monthly performance reporting and strategy adjustments
YOU'RE A FIT IF YOU
• Have 3+ years managing social for brands or personal creators (agency experience strongly preferred)
• Live and breathe short-form, you know what's trending before the client does
• Can write a hook that stops a scroll and a script that keeps them watching
• Understand boosting, Spark Ads, and how to amplify organic winners
• Are confident with Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, and DM automation tools (ManyChat or similar)
• Have worked with personal brands, D2C, or health and wellness clients (bonus)
• Are proactive, not reactive, you don't wait to be told what to post
