Position Overview
Epic Story Studios is seeking a creative, organized, and brand-savvy Social Media Manager to help grow our online presence across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and X. This role is ideal for someone who understands content strategy, storytelling, branding, and audience engagement.
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for planning, creating, scheduling, and managing social media content that promotes Epic Story Studios’ services, educates authors about audiobook production, highlights client success stories, and builds brand awareness.
Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience, scope of work, and agreed-upon monthly deliverables. This will be structured as a monthly retainer of $500.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a monthly social media content calendar for Epic Story Studios.
- Create engaging posts, captions, reels, short-form videos, stories, carousels, and promotional graphics.
- Write clear, compelling copy that reflects the Epic Story Studios brand voice.
- Promote services including AI narration, voice cloning, audiobook production, audio editing, and cinematic sound design.
- Educate potential clients on the benefits of turning their books into audiobooks.
- Schedule and publish content across approved social media platforms.
- Monitor comments, messages, and engagement, and respond or flag inquiries as needed.
- Research relevant trends, hashtags, audio content topics, author communities, and competitor activity.
- Repurpose existing content from the website, testimonials, videos, scripts, blog posts, and service descriptions.
- Assist with promotional campaigns, product launches, service announcements, and lead-generation content.
- Track social media performance and provide basic monthly analytics reports.
- Maintain consistent branding across all platforms, including colors, logos, tone, and messaging.
- Guide the Social Media Assistant on all projects and collaborate with the founder or creative team to align social content with business goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience managing social media accounts for a business, brand, nonprofit, creative company, or personal brand.
- Strong writing and caption-writing skills.
- Ability to create simple, polished graphics using Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Basic video editing skills for reels, shorts, and promotional clips.
- Understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and X best practices.
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage a content calendar.
- Comfortable using scheduling tools such as Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, or similar platforms.
