At The Attention Co., we build personal brands, podcasts, and content-led media ecosystems for founders, leaders, and high-agency individuals. We are looking for a Social Media Head to lead our client social media vertical, someone who can take over founder-level responsibilities across strategy, team leadership, execution, and performance.

This role is for someone who is not just good at content, but can run the function. The right person should be able to manage people, drive output, own KPIs, make hiring decisions, improve performance, and ensure that every client account is operating at a high level. Over time, this role can evolve into a core leadership / co-founder-type position based on capability, trust, and alignment.

Salary Band – upto 9 LPA

What this role involves

You will take ownership of the social media and content function across client accounts at The Attention Co. This means not only leading strategy and distribution, but also managing the team, setting expectations, improving quality, and ensuring strong business outcomes across the board.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the overall social media strategy for all client brands handled by The Attention Co.
  • Own end-to-end performance of client accounts across content, distribution, growth, and execution.
  • Manage the social media team across client accounts, including planners, social media executives, editors, designers, and producers.
  • Set clear KPIs for team members and verticals, and ensure consistent tracking, accountability, and improvement.
  • Take responsibility for team management including delegation, reviews, feedback, performance management, and team development.
  • Hire for the function when needed, identify gaps, and build a stronger team over time.
  • Ensure each client account has strong planning, smooth execution, and high-quality output.
  • Take independent calls on content direction, platform strategy, publishing, and team prioritisation.
  • Build systems, SOPs, workflows, and reporting structures so the vertical can scale without constant founder involvement.
  • Work closely with founders / clients and maintain strong trust in day-to-day communication and decision-making.
  • Turn creative output into measurable business and brand outcomes.

Who we are looking for

  • Someone with strong experience in social media, content, brand, growth, or media leadership.
  • Someone who has managed teams, not just individual execution.
  • Strong understanding of performance management, hiring, accountability, and team building.
  • Someone who can take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks.
  • Strong client-handling ability and maturity in making independent decisions.
  • Previous entrepreneurs, ex-founders, or people who have built teams/businesses before are highly preferred.
  • Strong instinct for content, distribution, platform growth, and audience behaviour.
  • Someone with the ambition and capability to eventually become a core leader inside the company.

Why this role is important

  • This person will be expected to gradually take over a large part of the founder’s current responsibilities on the client social media side — including team oversight, output quality, performance tracking, and decision-making. This is a high-trust, high-responsibility role for someone who wants to build something meaningful and grow into a very senior position over time.
