Location: Bath/Trowbridge Area

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (please note we can't reach above this – so please only apply if happy)

Work Pattern: Hybrid 2-4 days in office.

Flexibility: Open to those seeking 4 or 5 day working weeks.

We’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic Social Media Executive/Manager who is passionate about the latest social trends, has a true love for video content and social media marketing and is ready to further their knowledge and continue to develop their career in a great independent agency near Bath Area.

Context & Standards

This marketing agency work with the top 0.1% of global brands predominantly in the luxury market (Yachts, Real Estate, Luxury Cars etc). These clients expect a level of polish, thinking, coordination and responsiveness that is not typical agency level. That includes:

  • Planning and strategy that feels Boardroom/CEO grade
  • Content and campaigns with flawless taste and detail
  • International travel for launches and shoots when required
  • Turnaround times that feel premium, not convenient
  • Support after launch instead of “deliverables dropped and gone
  • You are expected to operate at this level from day one, and to enforce it across the team.

Area's the agency work across, and you’ll have direct involvement with:

  • Cinematic Videography, Photography & Drone Campaigns
  • Social Media Marketing (caption writing, content creation, strategy etc.)
  • Digital Marketing (SEO’s, Blog Writing, etc.)
  • Website Design, Build and Management
  • Paid Ads (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, etc.)

Despite what many people presume, there are many companies out there with 15+ marketing employees, and still contract their services due to the high level of specialist creative output they get, but struggle to find in employed individuals.

The Social Media Executive/Manager is responsible for owning the end-to-end delivery of social-first content and campaign production for assigned clients — from strategy and concept development through production, post-production, scheduling, and performance optimisation.

This role blends creative ideation, content production, platform expertise, social media management, strategy and production management to ensure consistently high-quality, on-brand, and results-driven content.

They act as the central quality controller and creative operator across social and video projects.

Key Responsibilities

For our agency: Content planning, strategy, creation, implementation, and management for both our agency’ accounts – across all platforms used.

For our clients:

  • Excellent client communication skills; handling your own client accounts, presenting creative ideas and concepts.

  • Prepare monthly client updates/reports on campaign success and outcome, data, analytics and any next steps, sharing insights and recommendations.

  • Develop and manage social media strategies aligned with client brand objectives
  • Conceptualise social-first content ideas (Reels, TikToks, Shorts, carousels, Stories) planning content themes and creative concepts.

  • Plan social content themes, organising client’s content banks and ensuring visual consistency with their brand guidelines.

  • Capture high-quality photo and video content during monthly client visits

  • Excellent production and project managements skills; organising video/photography shoots, planning logistics (locations, permits, equipment, crew etc) accommodation.

  • Planning shoot-day schedules and running orders.

  • Sourcing models, talent and influencers where required; managing talent communication and their scheduling.

  • Using project management tools to organise campaigns, timelines and meet client deadlines. (Asana, Click Up, Monday, Notion etc)

  • Quality assurance for all campaigns, considering content, brand and creative meet guidelines and technical standards.

  • Excellent eye for detail, spotting any errors and checking work before submission to clients.

  • Strong technical platform knowledge with Meta, LinkedIn, You Tube and TikTok (building, executing and monitoring social campaigns, understanding reporting tools and data)

  • Exposure to and experience with creative and video editing tools and platforms such as Canva, Adobe Premier Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, Cap Cut etc.

  • Strong knowledge of launching paid campaigns for social boosting, considering targeting, audience and budgets (Meta, LinkedIn etc)

  • Monitoring and reporting on paid ads outcome and key metrics, considering ROAS, CTR, CPC, and CPA sharing key data on campaign success with clients.

Person specification

  • Previous agency-side experience in a social media executive, junior social media manager or social media manager role.
  • Willingness to travel to the office 2-4 days a week for collaboration.
