The Role

We're hiring a Social Media Director to own and execute our social strategy from the ground up. You'll build our online community, grow brand presence across platforms, and translate the Cascaid story into content that resonates with both individuals and industry. This is a hands-on role: you'll create and manage content, run campaigns, optimize across channels, analyze what's working, and partner with cross-functional teams to keep messaging aligned with business goals.

This is a contract position based on-site in the United States.

Role Overview

You will build and own how Cascaid shows up in the world across social channels and content initiatives, translating complex clinical ideas into clear, compelling, and culturally relevant content that people actually engage with.

You live and breathe social. You understand how content moves, what makes people stop, and how to turn ideas into formats that perform across platforms.

You will bring Cascaid to market on social by developing our social voice, creating original content, and building a presence that stands out in a category that typically looks and sounds the same.

You will work closely with the broader marketing and content team to bring ideas to life across social, translating podcasts, interviews, and video content into high-performing social formats, and integrating them into a cohesive, platform-specific strategy.

But more than that, you will help define what social means at Cascaid. You will build the content engine from the ground up, set the creative bar, and scale what works in real time.

This is a creator, strategist, and operator role for someone with strong taste, high output, and a point of view. Someone who is excited to build from zero, and can take complex ideas and make them feel human and impossible to ignore.

You're not maintaining a presence. You're building one.

Social Strategy & Growth (Primary Focus) You will own how Cascaid shows up across social, from early traction to scaled presence.

  • Develop and execute social strategy across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Facebook, and wherever the conversation goes next)
  • Build Cascaid's presence from zero to scale, with clear ownership of how we show up at every stage
  • Identify platform-specific opportunities and content formats that drive reach and engagement
  • Stay ahead of trends and translate them into brand-relevant content
  • Continuously test, learn, and evolve what works

Content Creation & Creative Development You will create content that cuts through, not blends in.

  • Concept, create, and publish high-volume, high-quality content built natively for social
  • Develop original series, formats, and ideas that set the creative bar in the category
  • Translate complex medical and performance concepts into content that is clear, human, and a little irreverent
  • Write, script, and produce posts, reels, and thought leadership in close partnership with our content and comms leads
  • Evolve Cascaid's voice on social, keeping it distinct, consistent, and recognizable inside the broader brand voice

Cross-Functional Content Partnership You will work hand in hand with the broader content, video, design, and influencer teams to make every asset go further.

  • Partner with our comms and marketing lead on messaging alignment, so social-native work and broader brand storytelling move in the same direction
  • Collaborate with our video team on repurposing long-form work (podcasts, documentary, DHP video, interviews) into short-form social momentum, and feed social insights back to inform what gets shot next
  • Brief our graphic design team on visual assets clearly and early, respecting their ownership of brand visuals and creative execution
  • Coordinate with influencer marketing on creator partnerships, UGC amplification, and cross-promotion moments where social and influencer work converge
  • Build feedback loops between social signals and the broader content roadmap, so what resonates on social informs what the team produces next
  • Bring a social-first lens to upstream content planning, not just downstream distribution
  • Report into the Exec of Marketing and Content for strategic direction and sign-off

Go-To-Market & Campaign Support You will bring launches and moments to life on social.

  • Support go-to-market across our clinic, performance, and partner channels (including SimonMed and other partner initiatives)
  • Create social-first campaign ideas and executions
  • Develop content that builds momentum around key launches and initiatives
  • Translate broader marketing and content (podcasts, interviews, documentary, video) into high-performing social formats in collaboration with the video team
  • Ensure social is integrated into broader marketing efforts and partner deliverables

Community & Brand Voice You will be the voice of Cascaid on social.

  • Be the voice of Cascaid in comments, DMs, and replies. Clear, warmly human, clinically informed, never robotic
  • Build a community, not just an audience. People who follow because they trust us, not because they got served us
  • Spot moments to deepen connection, whether that's a thoughtful reply, a creator partnership in coordination with influencer marketing, or a UGC moment worth amplifying
  • Hold the line on tone in partnership with our comms lead, even when the algorithm rewards louder

Analytics & Performance You will turn content into growth without losing the soul of the work.

  • Live in the analytics. Track reach, engagement, growth, conversion, retention, and saves across every platform, and know which metrics matter most on each
  • Build regular reporting cadences that translate data into clear insight, not just dashboards
  • Stay obsessively curious about what drives engagement, both for Cascaid and across the broader social landscape
  • Identify what's working and double down. Identify what isn't and kill it fast
  • Use performance to inform creative direction, content strategy, and what the broader content and video teams produce next
  • Balance creativity with performance, knowing when to iterate and when to push something new

Operational Buildout This is a critical part of the role.

  • Step into high-impact work as it emerges. This role will evolve quickly alongside the company
  • Build and manage the social content calendar
  • Create systems for content production, publishing, and iteration that plug cleanly into existing team workflows
  • Maintain consistency across platforms without slowing down output
