ABOUT

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining Skilvo Recruiting’s digital presence. The primary goal is to position Skilvo as the leading skills-based hiring platform in South Africa by creating engaging content that attracts both top-tier talent and forward-thinking employers. This role acts as the digital "voice" of the brand, translating complex recruitment technology into relatable, high-impact social media stories.

  • Brand Awareness: Increase Skilvo’s visibility across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Threads and TikTok.
  • Community Engagement: Foster active conversations with job seekers and HR professionals to build a loyal following.
  • Lead Generation: Drive traffic to the Skilvo platform to increase candidate registrations and employer inquiries.
  • Education: Create content that explains the benefits of skills-based hiring versus traditional CV-based hiring.
  • Content Consistency: Maintain a rigorous posting schedule and ensure brand voice alignment across all digital touchpoints.
  • Content Creation: Proficiency in mobile video production (Reels/TikTok) and basic graphic design.
  • Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of social media algorithms, particularly LinkedIn and Meta Business Suite.
  • Copywriting: Ability to write persuasive, error-free captions and short-form blog posts.
  • Data Literacy: Ability to interpret social media analytics to pivot strategy based on performance.
  • Tech Savviness: Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and AI creative tools. Canva Knowledge is also beneficial.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for community management and responding to public inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required: Grade 12/Matric
  • Preferred: Certifications in Digital Marketing, Google Analytics, or Social Media Management.

Candidates with a strong, verifiable portfolio of managed accounts and successful campaigns will be considered regardless of formal degree.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED
