Overview
Social Media & Content Specialist Jobs in Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex at Confidential
ROLE SUMMARY
We are an established workforce solutions company with a national presence across the United States. With a large and growing regional footprint, we are building out a marketing function focused on authentic, field-level brand storytelling to support recruiting pipelines and worker engagement across local markets.
We are looking for a Social Media Specialist who lives and breathes the platforms where employees spend their time — Facebook, Instagram, and eventually TikTok. This is not a corporate social media role. It is a field-facing, recruiting-driven execution role responsible for building brand recognition, driving employee engagement, and supporting active recruiting pipelines across regional markets. This role will also support the creation of sales, recruiting, and internal marketing materials that help local teams tell the story consistently across markets
.You will operate at the intersection of authentic content and operational urgency. The goal is simple: help the organization show up where employees are, tell a story they trust, and create a pipeline of workers who want to work with them.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
- Execute daily and weekly social posting across Facebook (regional/area pages), Instagram, and emerging platforms — on-brand, on-time, and relevant to our audience
- Build and manage a content calendar in coordination with the Channel Marketing Manager and broader Marketing team
- Collect raw field content — photos, short video clips, jobsite moments — from recruiters, AEs, and area teams and turn it into postable assets
- Participate in and monitor relevant Facebook trade groups and local workforce communities to build presence authentically
- Capture, edit, and produce short-form video content for recruiting, social media, internal campaigns, and brand storytelling across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
- Create mobile-first content including reels, employee spotlights, local office features, field interviews, and recruiting campaigns
- Manage the field content submission process: create simple systems for regional teams to submit usable raw content
- Maintain and update branded social media templates for recruiting campaigns, hiring pushes, and regional initiatives
- Support LinkedIn content initiatives that highlight company culture, employees, safety, and local market activity
- Track and report engagement metrics weekly — follower growth, reach, post-performance, DM inquiries — and surface what's working to leadership
- Support job fair promotion through social channels in coordination with event planning
- Operate within brand and compliance guardrails set by Marketing leadership while maintaining an authentic, field-first voice
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2–4 years of social media management experience, ideally with a workforce solutions or recruiting-adjacent brand
- Facebook and Instagram power user — knows algorithm behavior, page management, Meta Business Suite, and scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar)
- Strong short-form video creation and editing skills — CapCut, Reels, Canva video, or similar tools; able to create polished but authentic mobile-first content with captions, music, text overlays, and clean pacing
- Writes in an authentic, non-corporate voice
- Organized and self-directed — manages a content calendar and posting cadence without daily handholding
- Comfortable engaging with field employees, not just broadcasting at them
- TikTok experience is a plus — not required at launch but becomes relevant within 6–12 months
- Canva or Adobe Express proficiency for branded static graphics and simple asset production
- Strong creative instincts with the ability to identify authentic stories, social trends, and content opportunities that resonate with field teams
- Comfortable creating content from imperfect raw footage, phone videos, field photos, and local office submissions
- Portfolio or examples of social content, reels, videos, or campaign graphics required
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE AT 90 DAYS
- Regional Facebook and Instagram pages are posting consistently on a defined cadence with measurable engagement growth
- A functioning field content pipeline exists — regional teams know how to submit content and are doing so regularly
- At least one employee social pilot is underway and producing trackable recruiter inquiries or application activity
- A repeatable short-form video process is in place, with regular reels or video content being produced from field submissions
- Branded recruiting/social templates are created and being used consistently across regional teams
- Weekly engagement reporting is live and being reviewed by the Channel Marketing Manager
