This role seeks a creator-first, strategic content leader to manage day-to-day social media execution, focusing on evolving YouTube as a core storytelling and discovery platform.
Responsibilities:
• Create original, platform-native content for social (primarily LinkedIn) and YouTube, emphasizing video, visual storytelling, and emerging formats
• Own social media (LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, Instagram) and YouTube channel strategy and execution, including programming, publishing cadence, and optimization
• Translate editorial direction and story priorities into social- and video-first content tailored for each platform
• Collaborate with designers, video teams, and creators to produce native, timely, and distinctive assets
• Lead daily social media and YouTube content operations to ensure consistency, quality, and momentum
• Shape the organization’s presence across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and emerging platforms with a strong understanding of format, audience, and algorithms
• Define best practices for video, creator-led content, and platform experimentation
• Work closely with storytelling leads to align social and video content with broader editorial narratives
• Partner with Product Marketing, PR, Brand, and Executive Communications on launches, announcements, and key events
• Collaborate with agency partners on strategy, analytics, and social listening while maintaining strong in-house creative control
• Monitor performance focusing on engagement, retention, and audience growth beyond vanity metrics
• Use data insights to iterate on formats, storytelling, and publishing strategies
• Contribute to reporting and performance reviews informing social and editorial strategies
Requirements:
• 6+ years experience in social content, digital media, or video-led storytelling roles
• Strong creator portfolio, especially in social video or YouTube-adjacent formats
• Deep understanding of social content performance, algorithms, formats, and audience behavior
• Working knowledge of AI-powered tools to streamline workflows, surface insights, and accelerate content development
• Ability to translate complex or technical topics into clear, engaging visual and video content
• Strong creative judgment and strategic thinking, knowing when to experiment or optimize
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, distributed environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with writers, editors, designers, and strategists
• Experience building or evolving a branded YouTube channel
• Background in B2B tech, developer audiences, cybersecurity, or AI
• Experience working alongside agencies while owning in-house execution
• Skilled in paid social amplification, including post boosting and thought leader ads, collaborating with demand or paid media teams
• On-camera experience or ability to direct talent and subject matter experts
