Job Summary
We’re looking for a content creator who can own the full content lifecycle from ideation to posting. You’ll plan, shoot, edit, and publish content across all social platforms. You’ll also be the face of the brand on camera. The goal is simple: make people stop scrolling, learn what we do, and want one.
What You’ll Do
Plan and produce content every week across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. Shoot video and photo at our showroom, install sites, and customer homes. Be on camera as the brand’s personality, talking to camera, doing walkthroughs, reacting to installs, and engaging with customers on video. Edit short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) and long-form (YouTube). Write captions, hooks, and copy that drive engagement and leads. Manage posting schedule and community engagement (comments, DMs). Track content performance and iterate based on what works. Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, email content, and landing page assets. Travel to install sites and customer homes across Southern California as needed. Reliable transportation required.
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience creating social media content, preferably for a product or home improvement brand. Strong video shooting and editing skills. Proficiency in editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar). Understanding of what performs on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube in 2026. Ability to write short, punchy copy that sounds human, not corporate. Self-starter who can manage their own content calendar without hand-holding. Comfortable and confident on camera with a natural, engaging presence. Has a portfolio or social accounts that demonstrate their work.
Bonus Experience
Experience shooting with DSLR/mirrorless cameras. Experience with drone footage. Motion graphics or animation skills. Experience with AI content tools (Runway, Midjourney, etc.). Knowledge of home improvement, construction, or outdoor living industry.
