📢 We're Hiring: Social Media Content Creator
📍 Kathmandu, Nepal
Himalaya TV is looking for a highly creative and strategic Social Media Content Creator to join our growing team! If you live and breathe content, trends, and storytelling, this opportunity is for you. 🚀
🔹 What You'll Do:
• Manage and grow our social media platforms
• Create engaging, scroll-stopping content and campaigns
• Plan and execute content calendars and posting schedules
• Monitor analytics and optimize performance
• Stay ahead of digital trends and platform updates
• Manage high-volume content production — we produce 10–14 shows every week, and each episode is repurposed into 20+ engaging reels 🎬
🔹 What We're Looking For:
• Proven experience in social media management
• Strong communication and copywriting skills
• Hands-on experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
• Strong Canva design skills (mandatory)
• A creative mindset with sharp attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-output content environment
You should have:
✓ Strong writing skills (fluent in English; Nepali preferred)
✓ Experience creating visual content (even basic experience counts)
✓ Understanding of how different platforms work and their audiences
✓ Ability to interpret analytics and engagement data
✓ Bachelor's degree (Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field) OR proven experience
✓ A portfolio showcasing your work
✓ Strong news sense—you should care about current affairs
✓ Ability to handle feedback and collaborate with teams
Nice to have:
⭐ Prior experience managing media or brand accounts
⭐ Video editing skills
⭐ Knowledge of social media analytics
