*ONSITE 5 DAYS/WEEK. BERGEN COUNTY. ONGOING CONTRACT*
Robert Half's client is looking for a Social Media Content Creator for an ongoing contract role. This position is 5 days/week onsite near Montvale NJ and is long-term with the potential to convert to full-time in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and publish platform-native content (video, photo, copy) across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging platforms
- Own end-to-end social video production (concepting, shooting, editing, optimizing short-form content)
- Turn trends and cultural moments into on-brand, high-performing content
- Use performance data and social insights to optimize creative output
- Support integrated campaigns with social-first assets
- Capture content at events, shoots, and activations
- Ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity across channels
- Test and evolve content formats (Reels, TikTok, Stories, etc.)
- Share weekly performance insights and optimization recommendations
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Marketing, Creative, or related)
- 2–5 years of experience in social content, video production, or digital marketing
- Strong portfolio of short-form video content
- CPG/consumer brand experience preferred
- Deep understanding of social trends and platform best practices
- Advanced video editing skills (Adobe CC, CapCut, Canva, etc.)
- Experience shooting content (iPhone/DSLR, lighting, audio basics)
- Familiarity with analytics and social listening tools
- Strong storytelling, copywriting, and data-driven mindset
- Highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
The hourly range for this position is W2 $30-40/hr DOE. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
