Role Description
This is a part-time, hybrid (remote/on-site) Social Media Assistant role based in Vancouver, BC. We are looking for a part-time social media assistant to assist with content operations, creative work, admin, and production support for a content creator.
You'd be a fit if:
- You've worked with a creator, talent agency, or brand partnerships team or you've run your own content brand
- You have a background in marketing and/or a genuine taste and passion for interiors, design, travel, and tech
- You're fluent in TikTok and Instagram trend cycles — not just consuming them, but pattern-matching what's about to land vs. already saturated
- You're comfortable with Notion (or similar) and have strong organizational skills
- You have a driver's license
- You enjoy problem solving and have a high degree of curiosity and proactivity
You'd own:
- Maintain a content calendar across IG, TikTok, YouTube — posting cadence, partnership deadlines, series sequencing
- Coordinate my personal calendar against the content calendar (shoots, travel, deliverable windows)
- Pull weekly analytics from Meta Business Suite for performance snapshots
- Brainstorm video ideas, and bring concepts to the table, push back when something feels off-brand
- Surface emerging audio, formats, and creator trends from TikTok and IG, share what's catching attention before it peaks
- Maintain affiliate platform (ShopMy, LTK, and Amazon Storefront — link uploads, collection curation, monthly check-ins)
- Assist with on-site shoot when necessary
- Assist with ad-hoc task when necessary
