Social Lead, Sports & Lifestyle | Position Description (Contract) (Hybrid – Events)

Social Lead, Sports & Lifestyle at hi5.agency is responsible for collaborating with our internal team and external client partners to action on the strategic vision for a local Los Angeles Nike account, leading its execution across owned channels. This person lives and breathes LA sports culture and fashion; deeply embedded in one or more athlete communities and the surrounding ecosystems that shape them, from basketball and running to soccer and football. They are also Extremely Online.

Responsibilities:
- Be immersed in relevant sports cultures and subcultures in Los Angeles, identifying trends and people shaping the industry both online and IRL
- Execute social media campaigns with minimal oversight, including publishing, asset management, community engagement, and tracking re-share opportunities
- Show up to internal and external calls with a POV on what works best for social, jumping in with thoughtful recommendations and a helpful attitude
- Be knowledgeable of social platform best practices, new platform features or changes, and digital trends as it relates to our projects or client’s needs
- Manage social accounts, ensuring that concepts, copy, and creative imagery are aligned with the overarching strategic approach and authentically resonate with audiences
- Partner with clients directly on the ground and occasionally over the weekend to support social activations during local LA events
- Provide analytics reports to extrapolate insights and key learnings that can pivot creative strategies/concepts in real-time
- Collaborate with Strategy, Creative, and Production Leads to ensure deliverables are presented on time and are aligned with client expectations
- Continually look for ways to push hi5.agency forward, improving our work output and processes
- Promote a culture of innovation and collaboration while adhering to agency process
- Always be punctual and effectively manage your time while communicating proactively
- Be kind and respectful endlessly
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- 3+ years in sports / lifestyle creative + social media advertising or equal time on a Strategy/Social team with proven success on global campaigns and building communities
- Analytical skills and research experience
- Receive constructive criticism with grace and implement change proactively
- Strong presentation skills, with a background in public speaking and/or presenting
- Experience managing social accounts for global brands
- Experience with publishing and content management tools
- Exceptional written communication skills with flawless spelling and grammar
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment driven to produce world-class results
- In possession of an ego-free personality that can work with a highly motivated team to get shit done
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
